Carl Jung, the famous psychiatrist, developed the idea of personality types in psychology. Based on his work we venture to identify the Carl Jung Types of famous people, including many celebrities, news makers, politicians, historical figures, businessmen, and many others who we believe to be interesting. Among our proudest achievements are the complete identification of the psychological type of Carl Jung himself based on his own observations. Also we have explored the personality of the inventors of the Electronic Computer, the Internet and the World Wide Web. For the sake of full disclosure we should mention that most of the studies in this website are written from the point of view of INTJs.
What made me create Carl Jung Types? Since a young age I have interested in personalty and character differences between types. This was simply amateur interest until recently when I made a mjor discovery that bridges several fields: biology, decision making, psychology, medicine, genetics, and several others. I came across almost by chance. I was studying decision making models and in a graduate seminar we had a guest lecturer who discussed his paper connecting Economics to evolutionary theory. I pursued that line of thought somewhat and I made a new discovery. For some time I had noticed that some decision making strategies were not divisible and they could not be combined with each other. So I had noticed that the basic decision making mechanisms had to be hardwired. After the lecture about evolution the answer had to be genetic. Until this point there isn't much new because many people have considered the genetic source of personality. However, I also went a step further and I now have a basic biological method for studying these genes outwardly and the means to take this to the laboratory. My problem is that I do not have enough biological and psychological background to pursue this. So I am trying to get a patent and a publication and then make everything completely public so that others can pursue it with complete freedom. It could be pretty interesting to compare the psychology of different famous personalities and how that affects their behavior. It also has a lot of potential with personality disorder problems, like schizophrenia, dependency, anti social behavior, and others.
